Huge mistake voting off Carol. She's a weak player in my opinion. Amber on the other hand seems tougher to beat. She comes across as pretty determined. Not to mention her constant crying is just irritating. I wonder who was the one that did vote for her.
Should be interesting how this HoH plays out! Jen is so wacky! Hopefully she'll put up Jessica. She deserves to go next. Especially the way she trashed Carol. Pretty cool that BB showed Carol her true colors. Definitely going to catch House Calls. Carol I'm sure will have more to say.

I liked Carol better than Amber.

I have to say the new HoH is probably the most interesting out of all the possibilities...
This should be an interesting week :)

Jen as HOH is hilarious. She had absolutely no clue what she was guessing.
Too bad Carol went. Amber grates on my nerves even more than Jessica.

Nope. At the very end with the HOH power firmly in grasp, Jen straight up told Amber she voted for her. She apoligized but said she was friends with Carol or some such.

The current HoH will nominate based soley on the fact that "They look better then I do".

Jen will nominate Dick and Danielle and if one of them wins POV they are taking Danielle of then in that case Jessica or Eric goes up.

Just my opinion, but did anybody else think that the tie breaker was a bit of a trick question? I just assumed she meant if the entry way to the tea cup wasn't there. Given their answers, I'm guessing the HGs did too.

Also, I voted for Kail to be the target of Eric.

if evil dick goes out this early in the show it won't be nearly as good as it can be with him in it longer.

I'm pretty sure Joe is the one that voted to get rid of Amber because she was aligning with Dustin. The scuttlebutt on some of the Big Brother fanboards is that it was Eric that voted for Amber to go. We'll see. Somebody said Skeletor would reveal who it was on the Early Show this morning.
Strange that they're not revealing the votes like they normally do, even on the website. I checked the previous season websites and it appears this is the first season they have not listed the votes online.

I am confused.
The last A-B question, where there were four people left, 2 answered A and 2 answered B.
Julie said it was split down the middle, so they would go to the water question.
What was the right answer, A or B? And why didn't 2 of the people get kicked off for having it wrong?

There was no "right" or "wrong".
You got kicked out if you sided with the minority.
It was split 50/50. There was no majority.

Because it was an even split, there wasn't a "majority" answer.
They weren't asked the questions ahead of time, just as the game was being played. So whoever voted in the minority, was eliminated after each question.

Does he HAVE to vote based upon America's Vote or does he just receive a reward if he follows the vote?

Watching the 'Jenius' walk accros the yard is really something to me....she doesn't walk, she struts. Like a chicken. It's the oddest thing the way she kinda kicks her feet out...really makes her rear-end wiggle more (not complaining :p).
Am I a weirdo, and the only one who's noticed this, lol?
Can't wait to see her room and pics of her family.

A question about America's Player:
Does he HAVE to vote based upon America's Vote or does he just receive a reward if he follows the vote?
I feel bad for him, he doesn't get to play his game, and "america" can really mess him over because there's no strategy at all to what those who vote will have him do. His chances of winning are miniscule because of this.
DancnDude
07-13-2007, 09:20 AM
He doesn't have to vote for whoever America picks. If he does, he completes a "task". After completing 5 tasks, he wins $10,000. He can decide on his own what to do.

A question about America's Player:

It is his choice.
He can choose not to follow America's vote.
But that will keep him from winning the $10K for every 5 things he does.
Edit: Do'h. I am a slow typer. :)

Tell those fanboards to go back to the live part of the show at the very end after the HOH. Jen told Amber she voted for her. Which is an incredibly dumb thing to do, but I think the HOH power went to her head, and she knew Amber did not like her, so she decided to jab it into her.

Jen will nominate Dick and Danielle
I agree with this. Dick because he has called her out on her BS, and Danielle because she is jealous of Nick flirting with her.
As to the HOH competition last night, it's a stupid competition. You aren't trying to figure out what most of your fellow houseguests think, but what they think the majority will think the majority will think. Where does the wormhole end?

But I liked the competition. Funny that even Joe thought the majority of the house would think he was a cheater over Dustin :D

Amber is definitely the crying queen this season! Sheesh! She annoys me. I wanted to see Carol stay but Amber pulled it out.
Jen winning the HOH is going to be HILARIOUS! She has absolutely no friends in the house. After the HOH competition she was staying off by herself and only a few folks congratulated her. Sort of sad really. She's going to make some asinine nominations unless she gets some help from the "Mrs. Robinson clan".

I agree with that to some extent but I am not sure she's smart enough or has enough b*lls to put them both up. Besides, it won't stick. Someone will Veto those nominations... no doubt.

I thought it was so funny that Jen barely even had a clue as to what the question was. You almost got the impression she was thinking "what's a gallon?" and wrote down a number. And of course she won because it was a trick question.

I agree. In fact, I think he's a smart enough player to be able to use America's votes to his advantage. Imagine if someone had this in Season 6 with Maggie. America would have constantly be voting for her to go out, and America's player would have to really begin thinking hard why and start watching her more closely.

I also would have liked to see Amber go before Carol. Great Job America  Neither were very exciting or good players in my opinion but as others have stated nothings worse then a Cry-Baby and she is one.
I already dislike the America's Player and find it stupid and not necessary.
I loved that Jen won the HOH - will make this upcoming week very interesting and you will see alot of two-face suckup going on... Expect to see Nick start to flirt openingly once again with her to try and assure he does not get put up. Dick will play his evil self and not change a thing about how he is acting towards her and expect to see him on the chopping block.
Im hoping I see Joe and Amber on the block.

I noticed that she does have a duck-type walk with her feet pointed outwards....yeah, that's really sexy!
Can't wait to see her room and pics of her family.
LOL, you really expect her to be pics of her family?? It will be just of her in various poses!
As for who she nominates? I think it will be two guys...most likely Evil Dick and Eric.

Which is funny because Jen likes to comment on how Joe has no friends. I think on some level Jen thinks she has no friends, but then thinks maybe a few people like Eric and Kail might be there for her, when instead they are just not being openly hostile.
The thing with Eric, after seeing his family, is what was his big plan? To dazzle everyone with his nipple rings.
To be honest, I can't fathom a plan where he could win even if he was not America's Player. I don't think he possesses the requisite tools.
Since it seemed Danielle and Dick both don't like Jen, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go up. It is hard to tell how much of that gets back to people though.

Except that I think people will use that vote to try and screw with him more than anything. Just wait until he forms an alliance with someone. How funny will it be if America tries to get him to vote against his closest ally. I'd vote for that! :)

My TiVo didn't record this or the next episode. I am really glad I waited to check this thread out, as I was able to usenet the shows and watch thru my 360 Media Extender. Yeah but it was dumb to have a trick question there.
It was unnecessary as the goal was not to try and make people never assume, it was to decide a tie break between a handful of people and hopefully do so in a way that might be considered fair and reasonable. A trick question in that situation was simply not called for...
The net result is the ended up with the least knowledgable and least informed person winning, even by her own admission. The result speaks to the question being inappropriate.
Imagine failing your driver's test not because you did not know the anwers, but because you missed some trick question.
There is a time and place for a trick question, this was not one of those.
