Directv DVR R10 with Tivo and Tivo Series 2 DT

I connected my Directv DVR R10 with Tivo with my new Tivo Series 2 DT.
I see 2 screens now.
Does anyone know how to connect these 2 correctly?
Directv and Tivo were no help.

Why connect a R10, which is a Dual Tuner, and can record 1 show while watching another, or record Two shows at once while watching a Third pre recorded, to a Tivo Series 2 DT, that can only record One Show with Sat?

You have hooked up Two DVR's together. Really theres little sense in this.

It is counterinuitive to connect two DVRs together. Even if you could get it to work you'd lose functionality. With those two DVRs you have four tuners. Connected together you'd have three at the most.

I believe the TiVo series 2 DT can record from one sat or cable box and direct cable.

If I were you, I'd set the DT and get another DirecTV DVR.

Thats correct. Thats why with Directv and a Series 2 DT, the DT becomes an ST unit. You do not have Dual Tuner or Dual Recording unless you also have Free Cable.
