Need a multi-switch for just one tv?

If I have a dual-lnb 18" dish, do I need a multi-switch if there is only going to be one tv connected to my Tivo? Would I run the two coax lines from the dish directly to the Tivo? Are there dishes that are not dual-lnb?

The round 18" dish has a single LNB with two outputs. That's all you need to feed both tuners on one DVR, so no multiswitch is required. Some of the old original round 18" dishes had a single LNB with just one output.

If you have a Dual Feed from the Dish, just run the Two feeds straight to your DVR. No multiswitch is needed.
