I bought a Hughes Directivo at a garage sale today. I was hoping that I would maybe be able to figure out how to add a bigger hard drive, etc.

However, I have NO CLUE what I've got. Does anyone know any way to tell what I have exactly? It doesn't say anywhere on the unit. It is a little old (2003). I do believe that it is has dual tuners because it has 2 satellite inputs.

If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it.

ALL DirecTiVos have two inputs. Does it have USB ports? That's the key differentiator.

What are the first three digits of the TiVo Service Number on the back?

All Directv/Tivo units are Dual Tuner.

On the back should be the Manufacturer : Hughes, the Model Number, Serial Number, and Tivo Service Number.
