I just noticed that my guide data only goes to July 1! WTF?

I am having the same issue where I run the reset and then I get a 2 week program guide. When that runs out I have to rerun the whole set up. I called TIVO and their asswer was that I needed the latest version 8.3 and that was failing due to my wireless router. That was a bunch of bull because I have another TIVO on the same router that worked fine. They told me to hook up to a phone line and that didn't work. They told me to keep connecting to the service and that didn't work. I am about to throw the thing in the trash. Their technical support is useless.

ANY HELP would be appreciated.

Either of you tried rebooting your units?

Not yet. I just discovered the problem last night. I plan to reboot when I get home from work.

It's a pretty common issue on the forum, although I haven't had it myself.

My DSR6000 had this happen. I tried a daily call, which failed. I then re-ran the phone setup to pick a different phone number. All is well now. This could help with you if you have additional numbers available.

There is a bug where the TiVo looses track of the guide stream. A simple restart will fix it.

Sorry about that brain fart.:) I knew that. :D I had to pick another phone number so that I wouldn't get the nag screen about not being able to make a call. Yeah, I know I don't need the phone line.

Huh, yeah, I just lost ALL of my guide data my HR10-250. Reboot fixed seems to have fixed it, but not much data available yet. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Strange though, I wonder why this happened all of a sudden to several people. Two days ago, my guide data was fine.

Why this happens is anyone's guess. What causes it is that the guide index gets messed up. Why that happens is amyone's guess. Well, it is computer. :)
