picture using Uverse

I know the IR codes aren't available yet but I've been reading and apparently some of you have gotten the TiVo to actually display a picture. I can only get TiVo to display a guide over a blank screen. If anyone who has had success on getting the TiVo to partially work with a picture be able to send me a wiring diagram or tell me how they wired it, that would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

This "Uverse" is a fiber-optic based version of cable TV?

How are you feeding it into your TiVo?

RF, or audio/video cables? Is there a STB/cable box involved?

It's an IPTV service so I have to run in through a STB. I've tried RF into the TV and I've also tried RCA. Neither one has worked as far as an actual picture to come up. Like I said I can see the guide so I know i'm getting a signal. I though other U-Verse users have been at least able to get a feed, but maybe not.

Wait a second...

First you said you couldn't get a picture thru your TiVo, now you just said you couldn't get one thru your television.

Which is it?

This is sounding more and more like a Uverse problem, not a TiVo problem.

I'd suggest you contact whoever did the install and tell them you can't get a picture on your TV with their box.

They DID provide the box you're using, right?

Sorry I misread your question. It was kinda late without a lot of sleep. I tried going into the TiVo by RCA and also tried by RF. I also did the same for the TV. I tried many combinations. One things for sure RF cannot be used going into the TV from TiVo.
