Lightscribe DVD's

Has anyone tried to use Lightscribe capable media in a Pioneer Tivo? I thought I would ask before I buy some discs and try it. The dvd-r media is 16x, so I'm not sure if that will work in the Tivo unit. I have a lightscribe burner in my pc to create the labels on.

The light scribe DVD-R media should work fine. You just have to use the PC burner to make the label.

I'll have to disagree on that... 16x media isn't likely to work. 8x is, I believe, the fastest DVD-R media that works reliably with the drive in the Pioneer 810 (2x for DVD-RW). Not sure about the other DVD burner models.
