I have two HR10-250s, one on 3.1.5f and one on 6.3d. I mostly use the one that's 3.1.5f (the one on 6.3d has one bad OTA tuner). In the last few days,I've started getting short audio dropouts(2-3 secs) on 3.1.5f.It's only half full of recordings. The dropouts are not occuring on 6.3d(I've compared the same HBO stuff the last 2 nights),but I don't use it enough to know how 6.3d performs day to day.

So,it is safe to let it upgrade to 6.3d(3.1.5f is unplugged for 250+ days and flawless......til now)? These are not as bad as the old 8 sec OTA dropouts, but are still annoying. Thanks for advice!

I found that with 3.1.5f I would need to do a clear and delete everything about once a year to re-initialize the database. The database growth problem was fixed in 6.3. Either do a clear and delete everything on 3.1.5f or let it upgrade to 6.3d. I have two units on 6.3d and have never seen any problems.
