Dialing Troubles

My TiVo dials in for it's connection. The first two times it dailed in it was fine, but now it gets stuck in the "Downloading" step for like 10 minutes, and doesn't come out of it. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix the issue or is this normal?

It might be trying to download a firmware update. These take longer than the regular daily call (I have no idea how long, but hey, it's dialup).

What's your model and firmware version? If it's not the latest firmware that would probably explain it.
