Transferring Tivo from one TV to another

Is it possible to take take a TiVo that is already hooked up to one TV and disconnect it and hook it up to another TV?

Depends where is the new TV? Same house? Differant house same video source? Differant house new video source?

Not if your source of programming (cable, antenna, satellite, etc.) hasn't changed. You might have to change the aspect ratio if you are moving to a wide screen from a 4:3 screen though.

The tv will just be in another room.

that's great I just started using my tivo in my room today but when we get a new tv in the basement we're moving the tivo there.
