Thinking of getting HD in a summer location - besides an HR20, what dish would they put up...one of those ugly big ones with 5 LNBs? Is that what is now required for the new MPEG 4 HD channels?

Yes. 5 LNB required. The slimeline isn't all that much bigger then the triple LNB dish.
