I have two hr10-250's that have backdoors enabled on. I keep getting dvr service not activated. I'll make daily call still say that, however I can reset and it works fine for a few days then same message come back. Then in the recording history it says "This program was not recorded because it was scheduled with a TiVo Plus service Feature. To upgrade to TiVo Plus service go to DIRECTV Centra and choose "How to upgrade to TiVo Plus service." anyone else getting this?

Call DirecTV and have them refresh the signal to your access card. It sounds like the DVR tier is dropping off or not getting recognized for some reason. If the problem persists you could have a bad card and may need to replace it.
