I'm completely new to this so please bear with me if my etiquette is not up to par.
I just got off the phone with Directv (after trying to troubleshoot why my R15 will not record a series link) and the agent suggested that I come to this site to find out how to use my USB port on my R15 500 series DVR since they don't have the documentation for it yet, but this forum found out that the USB ports on these models are enabled some know how to do this. Can anyone help me? I've got 3 seasons of 3 different shows riding on this! Thanks!

The R15 isn't a tivo. It's usb ports will be enabled when Directv enables them. The csr you were speaking to had no idea what they were talking about.
