Summer reruns of Smallville and Veronica Mars

Does anyone know or have a good idea how much of the last seasons will be re-run over the summer? I missed a few weeks worth of both Smallville and Veronica Mars because of a problem with my OTA antenna that I didn't notice for several weeks (apparently the CW is a much weaker signal than the other channels I get locally). I think I have the last two episodes of each but missed the three or so prior to those. They seem to have started the reruns from the beginning of the season, but do they normally go all the way through over the course of a summer? It just seems like there are more episodes than weeks until the new season starts. As far as download options go, we'd be more likely to wait for the DVD's than sit at our computers and watch them.

I've also seen that there are a lot of reruns of Smallville on both our CW affiliate and HDNet, but presumably they won't be from the most recent season, right?

I realize the obvious answer is that I'll just have to wait, just curious if anyone else has waited through previous summers and could give me an idea.

I suspect that the repeated episodes will be whatever they believe are the better ones. Each year is different. Now since VM has been cancelled, those may all be rebroadcast.

That's possible for VM, there were fewer episodes this season.
