You can convert it using QuickTime Pro - $29.99 upgrade.

Besides Tivo.Net (linked to above), PyTivo (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=4609427&&#post4609427) works on XP/Vista and also reportedly on the Mac, but last I heard- some MOV's are not converted properly by FFMPEG. (Especially those that use MPEG3 audio instead of AAC).
PyTivo is handy, because you just publish your video folder(s), and if you ever want to view them on Tivo, you just select them and the conversion is done on the fly.
If you are a novice, you probably don't want to try such FFMPEG based solutions (Tivo.net, PyTivo), just yet due to the problem with audio conversion problems in some MOVs.
