I was wondering how they'd manage to get Kyle back to the Trager's, because the dialogue was really stilted with essentially two Kyle's talking to each other. :)
I'm glad he's back. And it'll be interesting to see how he finds Kyle XX (or whatever we end up calling her). :)

Probably Hottie XX. :D
It's a little difficult to view Foss in a good light, seeing as his Krycek role from X-Files was so indelible. But he does seem to be a loyal pit bull type of guy. The other guy, I'm not so sure about.
I do like this show. Glad to have it back.

The son really got taller, didn't he?
Other than that, not sure what I can say. We're told that Kyle lived his entire life in an artificial womb, simply because it should help his brain develop. OK, but that just means the brain grows bigger without any actual learning being imprinted on the brain, so ... that maybe explains how when he wakes up he is a sponge, absorbing everything. But does it explain his ability to jump off roofs and not injure himself? To leap incredibly high in basketball games? I'm still a little confused about this.

Excellent news. More Matt Dallas is definitely a plus. :)

This was the first episode of this show that I've watched and I was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty easy to jump right in and understand what was going on. One question I had though, how long was Kyle living with the Tragers before he left? The mom seemed a little over the top in how upset she was that he was gone. Other than that, great show.

The development of that connection is also part of season 1's story.

I was half expecting the kids to be a "little" upset that Kyle was back, since that meant the Mom would be all over him again (especially since she was *just* starting to pay attention to them again).

Great, awesome episode. The writers handled everything right. They gave us the back story we needed, ended the mystery of "who is Kyle XY" and set the stage for the next plot development. I love this show!

I remember this show starting on ABC, I got into it, then after the season finale they moved it to ABC Family.
Is ABC now showing the 'repeated' season 2? I recorded this episode from ABC on 6-15-07.

The show started on ABC Family; they repeated episodes on ABC in HD.

Okay, I was confused. I'd never heard about Kyle XY until I saw the first season shown on ABC.
So is this the first episode of season 2?

I refuse to watch something in SD that can be viewed in HD; I don't care if it runs two days, two weeks or two months later.

I have the ABC Family versions recording on the R10.
I have the HD ABC versions recording on the S3.
Just in case ABC or the local affiliate decide to not air an ep, or have technical problems with the HD version.
I did the same thing last year, and I think I ended up watching one in SD on the R10 for some reason.

Um, yeah, that's like why the title of the thread says "S02E01". :)

The ARWL would catch it in HD no matter what channel it appeared on, and I would only watch the SD ABC-FAM showing if no one else had that episode in HD. Worked beautifully for me.

Good thing I back it up.
Local ABC affiliate decided to air The Big Lebowski last night, so no HD Kyle XY for me.
Wasn't even the HD version of Lebowski, poor upconverted SD version.

Well it should have come on Friday because I know they are supposed to show encore presentations of it on ABC. I know it was on around my way. I would check again this week cause this weeks episode was pretty good:)

For those of you who catch this show on ABC, sorry, this Friday is the last airing of the repeat shows, According to Futon, George Lopez with air 2 episodes in its place.

That's disappointing. I much rather watch it in HD than on ABCFamily. Although I don't see a new episode listed after next week's on their Web site. However, TV listings do show a new ep July 16.
