Does anyone have any suggestions for solving the following problem?
I installed Desktop 2.4a a couple of weeks ago, after purchasing Roxio Creator Suit 9, for which it is required to transfer TiVo recordings.
Since installation, on four occasions, Desktop has failed to open.
The starting box opens, the time bar goes to 2/3 complete and then just sits there.
It does not time out, it's shown as running in Windows task manager but never opens. Closing and restarting shows the same result.
If I un-install and re-install Desktop 2.4a it works fine for a while.
Could the problem be cause by Roxio?
Roxio/Sonic software seem to cause an inordinate amount of Windows problems (runtime errors, blue screen crashes etc.)
