Using Tivo with Built-in Freeview

Hi,

I have searched extensively for info on this but can't find anything.

I have bought a Sony Bravia LCD TV with built in digital (freeview). I know that a wand is required to change the channel on digiboxes but what if the digibox is built into the tv?

At the moment I can only use my Tivo with the 5 terrestrial channels that are being transmitted in analogue, and these are going to be stopped next year - so I will have nothing to Tivo!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Typically you cannot use the digitial tuner built into TVs, as they are turned off when the TV is turned off. TMK, Freeview boxes aren't that xpensive, and you'd have the flexobility of watching one whilst the other is recording, if you get a standalone Freeview box for the TiVo to record from.
