My TivoNet card used to work...

I've got a Series 1 Tivo (lifetime sub) and an old TivoNet card that I've had forever. Everything used to work great until the HD failed. It was a while until I got around to fixing it, but it's booting again. I'm trying to get the networking part up and running again. It doesn't seem to be loading the ethernet drivers. It just shows the loopback interface. I've got 3.0 of the software (I'm doing this from memory, but I think the version number was something like 3.0-01-1-000). Should this have the ethernet drivers built in? I tried reseating the network card and adapter card. The network card does have two LEDs, both on, near the cable connection. Like I said, this all used to work. Has something happened to my TivoNet card?

An update on this... apparently the InstantCake image I used for this load TurboNet drivers instead of the TivoNet ones. I tried modifying /etc/rc.d/rc.net and replace turbonet2.o with tivone.o, but I just get messages in /var/log/kernel about unresolved symbols. Do I need to replace the TivoNet card with a TurboNet card?
