I really hate Tayla. Can't act. Isn't pretty. Not cute. no personality.
ugh.
Once again, the great and powerful Ronon got his butt kicked.
and didn't we already see the "give false info through reading the mind" trick?
bleh!

Maybe not the greatest actor, but I think she is cute.

BTW, it's Teyla.
And, did anyone think that her acting is just the way the writers/directors want it?

I think so. She does not use conjuctions, and seems "flat" most of the time. I think she's OK looking, but not drop dead gorgeous.

I like Teyla! I thought this was a good episode!! When Teyla kicked Ronan in his special place, my husband let out a loud groan.

I think every man watching did.

I think men's perceptions of Teyla's attractiveness is at least partially dependent on how threatened the man feels by a woman who is presented as a physical force who can probably kick his *ss.

I think Teyla's pretty hot, actually. Pretty face and smokin' bod.
Just a so-so episode, though. Some funny quips about the new guys. And I sure hope they didn't leave the queen lying there at the end.

A new almost endless source of energy sits not too far from Atlantis. How convenient.
Master sharpshooter and Wraith hunter Ronon, standing 6 feet from a Wraith Queen, takes a shot and misses her by a foot, flooding the shuttle bay. How convenient.
Two red shirts are killed and no one mourns. How typical.
Does anyone remember Weir's line to Shepard about having some time to explore the station with him? I thought ... She mentioned something like, "while I'm here", so it may have been a slight nod to her upcoming departure from Atlantis.
Warning: Spoiler discusses potential cast changes on SG:Atlantis.

You should spoilerize the warning too, since it reveals a lot.
Maybe have "Read this spoilerized warning before you read the spoiler below it..." ;)

and let's not forget that now a wraith dies after being shot a few times...
but only from a semi-automatic pistol fired by Sheppard, not from repeated automatic fire by Rodney!

The actress who plays Teyla is a nice looking woman. You've gotta have a seriously alternative definition of attractiveness if you think otherwise. I have no idea as to whether she can act or not since the character she portrays could be played by a wooden cigar store Indian.

Since they've used the same trick in past episodes, yeah it wasn't hard to see.

I thought it was odd that Carson showed up so much in the Previously on Atlantis scenes at the beginning. (Given what happened last episode; it was almost like they were busy trying to remind you without actually showing that scene)

As for the episode itself, did they ever figure out why the Ancients abandoned the station?
Oh, and how come after they killed the queen, they didn't put a few round in her head at point blank range or cut off her head or something? The guys on The Sopranos take more effort to make sure someone's dead...

This episode had me on the edge of my seat. I liked it.
Those two red shirts were doomed from the start, though. :(

I don't remember them ever discovering why the Ancients abandoned the station. Now who thinks this was intentional, for future storylines? Or was it just a loose end?
The Queen is one of only a couple of regular wraith characters. How could they kill her when they'll need her again some day? ;)

I seem to recall that someone said that they should try to figure out why the ancients abandoned the project...
which made me wonder how they could fix what the ancients couldn't...

Well, the Wraith were a lot less of a threat to the humans than they were to the Ancients, and are even less of a threat now...

I assumed that they abandoned the project for technical reasons, not because they had to flee...at least that was the implication...
but that would make more sense...they had to flee, so the project is viable, just not complete...I can live with that...

So that wraith was down there for 10,000 years. Shouldn't her leather outfit have rotten by now?

In which episode of Charmed did Rachel Luttrell play a witch?
