Desperate
As regular readers know I am really struggling to get our TiVo’s to download the daily listings.
We have 2 TiVo’s each connected to different broadband systems on totally separate networks. Each of these service providers assure me that there are no proxy servers between us and the UK.
But both units will not download the listings.
Logs show the connection timed out.
Can anyone offer help in trouble shooting this problem.
Thank you

Do the downloads work OK over the 'phone?
Can you connect OK to the TiVos from elsewhere on the networks? From outside the networks?

Which ISPs?
When did the problem start?
You are not having the "Transparent Proxy" issue are you?

When did it start happening?
I can see from your previous posts that your tivos are abroad, can you access your TiVo via tivoweb OK?

Would have been a lot more helpful if you had continued or linked to the thread which contains the previous help given here. As it is we are covering old ground again. However you now say you have two ISP's not one.

In that thread you say "I GOT SORTED" so what has changed?

Both ISP's assure me there are not proxy servers in line.
The problem started 23rd May
I have done the Freeranger hack for proxies
I am about to try the phone option but I cannot find out how to change the telephone number Tivo calls.
I have TivoWeb running and can telent and ftp into both units.
I can ping websites in the UK from the Tivos
The logs says time out occurs

There are 3 ports to check are open, one syncs the time, the other is for some data??
I think, go search ports, maybe some firewall is blocking them
Also check the gateway address, this sometimes changes, especially with the old drivers
Also the MAC addresses are set by SW and will be the same, but if they are on two different networks as you say, it should be ok.
