Ok, just started watching it again and have a few questions...

1. Who the hell is Willow and why is that damn hairbrush so important?!?

2. Why is Lucas shouting EVERY line he gets now?

3. Where is Kate Roberts?

Welcome back! Here's (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=253473) the thread for the DAYS stuff, that might answer some of your other questions as they come up.

Now to answer the questions posed:
1. Willow is a prostitute that Shawn befriended. He finally dumped her, only to have her try to burn his apt. down. She never liked Chelsea, so stole her hairbrush one time while at Chez Rouge after Chelsea left it in the bathroom. Not sure why she did it at the time, but she later left it/dropped it at Bo & Hope's house when she was "robbing" it for EJ (EJ wanted them to realize that they needed Billie's security system). Almost getting caught, Willow accidentally bumped into a candle or something which started a fire. The hairbrush was the only evidence left behind, so if they'd run DNA on it, they would have thought that Chelsea started the fire, which is what Willow preferred.

2. Lucas is shouting every line because since he married Sami, he seems to have turned into a caveman...telling his wife what to do and when to do it, like she doesn't have her own brain. Granted, it's because he's concerned for her safety, but nonetheless, he thinks it's his job to yell everything now I guess.

3. I have no idea where Kate is. Just glad that she's gone. She's probably hiding out from whomever it is that Lucas reported discrepancies of their (her's and EJ's) company, Mythic to...though, it should be EJ who is more concerned, so she's probably just "not needed" in the current storylines.

I have a question for people that watch Soap's

Obviously they are on daily.

Do you watch it every day (or at least every episode via Tivo)

Or do you/can you watch a few, skip a few and then not be totally lost?

I know for primetime shows I hate to miss an episode and feel lost (if it's not a comedy)

I watch pretty much every episode, but if I happen to miss a year or so, know that it's easy enough to catch back up since not much changes, lol.

I watch everyday, too. Especially since 'Days' and 'Passions' both have alot of comedic stuff going on, although 'Days' isn't nearly as funny as it was in the days of Eugene and Calliope.

You could probably watch a couple of times and month and eventually figure out what's going on, but since I watch it every day, I more listen than watch and get lots of other things done at the same time. If I only watched it sporadically, I'd have to actually pay closer attention to keep up with stuff.

lol thanks to everyone and yes, the DiMera's return is working since thats why I returned. Also the new writer has helped a lot since a lot more has gotten done in this past week than would've if JER was still in charge. If he was still in charge, that ambulance ride with Stefano would've lasted until the end of this month!

I noticed I tend to watch them everyday but in general with this show I have watched it then dumped it then watched it then dumped it for a bit...now back to watching it and it looks like that will pay off.

Personally Kate Roberts is one of my favorites ;) Though her son (one of the 60 she's had) really needs to lower his damn voice once in a while! "SAMI! I'M GOING OUT IN THE HALL! SAMI! DID YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM?!!? SAMI!! ARE ALL YOUR STEM CELLS STILL IN PLACE?!?!"

I'm loving the DiMera's return :)

I watch the previous day's show every morning while I get ready for work. I'm hardly paying strict attention but you can catch up pretty easily if you miss something.

If I don't watch every day they tend to pile up and I hate to skip an episode, even if I watch while not paying attention. Silly, I guess, but it works.
