Well...I don't think I like the format this year. The "you don't have my vote" thing is melodramatic, and I liked the point system better.

I would've rather seen this be 2 hours and seen more actual DANCING and less histrionics and crying.

And where's Benji's sister? Haven't seen her yet.

Also, what happened to Claire from last season? She was supposed to have a pass for this one - but we haven't heard anything about her. Did she decide not to come back, or is that a surprise for later?

Yeah, the Vegas round gets more disappointing every year ... there are a LOT of dancers that I liked in the audition episodes that I couldn't tell if they were even on the show tonight! :confused:

Benji's sister was on the show a couple of times ... I saw her doing a little of the samba choreography and she was looking like the Latin champ she claims to be. I also saw her doing a little stuff during the group routine practice montage. She never got pointed out during the show though. :(

As for Claire, the rumor I heard (*unconfirmed*) is that she got married between the seasons and was pregnant and that's why she didn't come back to Vegas ... no idea if this is fact or fiction! :)

Yes- this round was kind of meh. After scoliosis guy anything would seem tame, though.

I did notice the guy that Mia liked so much during her lyrical choreo session- his extensions went on forever. I want to see more of him and don't even know his name.

The "dance for your life" segment is ridiculous. They're just going to do what got them there in the first place. If you're bad at other dances that's not your forte, then you should be sent home, period.

Oh, and the female judge (that sits next to Nigel) is obnoxious!

The guy that Mia liked was the same one that was talking to the camera about how he was looking forward to working with her.

It was good to see Dimitri again, although I almost didn't recognize him with the shaggy hair. It wasn't until he flashed that smile that I really recognized him.

Mia is *very* obnoxious (and she's gonna be dancing in a mumu next year, if she keeps getting bigger!!) and there's just something about her I don't like. She has a definite superiority complex.

I was thinking shane should break offa Hip Hop show. It would not be as big as SYTYCD of course but it would be sick without a doubt after watching the B boys on this show :eek:

I think they tried to make it look like Lacey BUT I think it might actually be Faina, who is Stanislav's sister and had problems during the group choreography session ... I guess we'll just have to wait until tonight to find out. :cool:
