Anyone managed to get their PS3 to access TiVoWeb 192.168.0.100 as yet? (sorry to be terse but I don't have a USB keyboard for the PS3 yet)

my ps3 accesses my tivoweb fine, though not on that IP address, as my network is different.

Interesting - so it is possible then :)
I guess you're going in wireless as you have TurboNet?

Would be nice if it could play a .ty or .tmf :-D

it would :D)
but if you already had a background script pulling shows off TiVo and re-encoding them to .mp4 overnight (just for the sake of example you understand ;) ) then it wouldn't be necessary because these re-encoded shows would magically appear on your PC as .mp4 and as your PC appears as a Media Server to the PS3 then bob's your uncle.
Better not stray into forbidden territory though :D

TiVoWeb on PS3 seems to be working OK for me now. I don't know what I was doing wrong last time
Anyway I can report that the LovelyBlue2 (http://www.dixon.ws/tivo/) is still lovely on the PS3 :D

Now, now - the Angry One has been behaving himself recently. Stop baiting. :)

Mplayer can play them without issue. If you have Linux running on your PS3 you shouldn't have a problem.

I found that the latest builds of mplayer won't play them. I got confirmation from TCM2007 that v0.9 would play them, but I can't find that anywhere.
All got too "Linux v. hard" as usual, so I gave up. I now convert any Video I have to PS3 native format on the PC and view in the XMB.
Since media streaming is working in PS3 and with the various other improvements to the PS3 recently, I have no need for linux on the ps3 anymore.
