Hi Guys,

I've read just about everything I can find and I think I've learned a lot and I've tried everything I know to do and I didn't want to post again about this but, still I'm not getting the "music and photos" in the menu. I'm running zipper on a DVR40 and I've pulled the drive and re-run zipper twice and I've run the enhancement script.

I don't know if it matters at this point but, I don't have my wireless adapter yet.
Please look at the info from my TiVo and see if I've done something(s) wrong.

I know I've posted about this before and I do appologize, but I'm at roadblock with this.

Anyway, here is the info d/l from the DVR40....

bash-2.02# ls
ApgManager SystemServices myworld.lck
KnownHostComponent dbgc-mcp netperf.debug
NetworkVideoService hppm shmemd
PassKeyComponent huxley tcphonehome
RendezvousClient mcp tcphonehome.lck
S_EventSwitcherSocket82 mfsd tmkpidmap
SiHost myworld tmkpidmap.lock
bash-2.02# cd /hacks
bash-2.02# ls
hacked_with_zipper_version_3.3 superpatch-67all-NutKase-1.2.tcl
network.tcl tweak.sh
set_mrv_name_67.tcl tweak_uninstall.sh
bash-2.02#

Is there anything missing or wrong with this ? If I need to post more info please tell me.

Thanks for any help

posting the result of "ifconfig" may help.

What program are you using to serve music/photos on the PC? the latest tivo desktop doesn't work with zippered dtivos.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not using my network to communicate with the tivo at this point, I'm doing it via serial. My usb adapter just arrived a few minutes ago, it's a Linksys WUSB11 BUT, it's a ver. 2.6 and I don't think that version will work. I've been trying to get it all ready for connecting to the network.

Here is the ifconfig...

bash-2.02# ifconfig
lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
RX packets:7 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:7 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0

Assuming you're running 6.2a software, you used the wrong version of superpatch. See the link in the Zipper instructions.

Man do I feel like a dim wit  I had D/L'd both superpatches when I first started and I thought I'd used the 6.2 and it still didn't sink in even when I did the "ls".

Anyway, that's what it was of course and it's all working now  Even got javaHMO weather and everything going.

Thank you all for your help and thanks rbautch for getting me straightend out.

Best regards

BTW, The WUSB11 ver. 2.6 works great :D
