HR10-250 + Zipper Question

How come the HR10-250 is on the list for a candidate for using "The Zipper" for MRV doesn't work. Everything else seems to.

Also... Any way to transfer my recordings from my DSR 704 to my HR-250? Thats what I really need to do.

The version of the software that runs on the HR10-250 (currently 6.3c) doesn't have the necessary MRV functionality built in to it. The regular DirecTiVo software actually has MRV built in, but DirecTV had TiVo turn it off. The SuperPatch simply turns it back on (a much simplified explanation, but it gets to the nuts and bolts of it). Since there is no underlying MRV functionality in the HR10-250 software, there's nothing to turn on.

If the DSR704 was previously hacked, there are tools that can transfer the content from one machine to another, but we're not allowed to discuss them here because that's considered video extraction. Search for "mfsftp" on google, and you should find what you need.
