My trusty Sony SVR-2000 started freezing up this week so I removed both the original drive and the additional 120GB drive. I restored my original disk backup image to the 120GB drive and reinstalled with that disk only. It still has the freezing problem so I'm trying to restore the original disk image back to the original 30GB (40GB) HD to test it with that HDD alone. Whenever I try to use mfsrestore on that HDD it says that there isn't enough space. Is there a particular mfsrestore command line I need to use to get the image to fit back onto the original disk it was taken from or am I just out of luck here?

Use the -s option on the backup, and leave the x out of the restore.

I've tried mfsrestore -r 4 -s 127 -zpi etc... and that didn't work so would I try mfsrestore -s etc... instead and leave out the r,z,p and i as well as the two numbers? Thanks for your help on this as it's very confusing.
