Here is one I don't understand -not that that is saying so much ;-0
I have an HR10-250, which I have upgraded with a larger hard disk, an instant cake 6.3c image and the zipper hacking script.
It has been running fine for some months now, but I have a couple of strangenesses of late that may or may not be related to each other.
Starting a couple of weeks ago, I start getting broken video/audio, much like rain fade or a weak signal. I see that my dish must have moved a bit, as on 1 sat I am getting in the 60s, and 80s and 90s on the other 2. They used to all be in the 90s. Still, it seems that these numbers should be good enough for good weather, anyway, right?
Now, starting today, I can not watch *anything* in the Now Playing list. I can navigate the list, open groups, but when I select a recording to watch, the menu disappears for a moment like it is going to play, but the menu simply comes right back again.
I can see via Hackman that the drive is passing smart diagnostics, so I don't think it is the drive, which is what I also thought with the broken video. Also, I can download programs from the Now Playing list via my computer, so the recordings are there and they can be played - just not from the tivo!
Oh yes - I tried rebooting, but no change.
Any ideas?
I hate having to go back to live tv!
