Can S3 record two OTA channels at the same time?

I have run into many descriptions of the S3 saying "record 2 digital cable shows at once"

But NEVER have I seen any mention of recording two over the air broadcasts at once. It seems to me that if it could do it, then they would state it.

Please respond before the S3 rebate is over on June 16. I would like to snag one.

Well, back before the finale's I was doing it every day.

Don't know what would qualify as proof.
You'll just have to take me at my word.

I don't even have cable, I am using the S3 for OTA HD only.

It is just that many people seem to speculate without knowing the truth, but since you know you have done it, I require no further proof.

Absolutely.

You can do anything with OTA that you can with the cable cards.

Except have to worry about calling the cable company to reauthorize them all the time :D

You will also find the S3 picks up so many more stations than any TV I've seen. It has VERY good tuner and will search and find all your local HD stations. I also use it for OTA only. I would reccomend good outside antenna for any HD of course. HD can cut in and out from things like cars driving by and airplanes and even heavy rain if you try to use rabbit ears. An outside antenna usually stops any of that. The S3 will pick it up better than any TV I've seen.

I'm getting most of my locals with just amplified "rabbit-ears." If I were able to put up an outdoor/roof antenna I would. But I'm amazed at what the set-top antenna picks up. :)

Can you set up season passes using OTA only?

Yes, provided TiVo has them in the OTA channel lineup for your zip code along with accurate guide data. The list provided for my zip code was overly optimisitic, including stations in adjacent cities (Dayton, Zanesville) that I have to disable in the channel list.
