Indy 500 time overage

So tivo'd the indy race, did +1hr, and missed the post 113 lap restart, because of a 3 hr rain delay.

I was thinking Tivo did adjustments, but is that only when it happens ahead of time with a schedule (ie a show is going to be 1 hr later than normal) ??

Just bummed I missed all the finally action ....

I think the box only pulls information during its daily/nightly connection to TiVo. It would be nice if program information could be done in real-time, but then someone would have to be watching every single show on every single channel and make updates. Then you could run into a situation where there could be a recording conflict with a show you scheduled for later, before knowing about a 3-hour delay.
