After $200 instant rebate and $200 mail-in rebate:
Video and Audio Center, 1426 Wishire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA (310) 451-6200; and
4401 Redondo Beach Blvd., So. Bay area (310 214-0081
They have a website for orders but I did not find the S3 listed there. Maybe they will still ship one, though: videoandaudiocenter.com (866) 822-2289

Locals can pick one up now, no waiting. And, can get price match at BB and Circuit City if they are closer.

You probably get taxed on the full retail value at that local L.A. store. Versus no tax at TCS.

But then you have to pay shipping which may be more than tax (or less depending on local taxation). Also, you'll have to pay for gas to get down to the local store and these days that can be costly. :)

If the prices are close, I generally prefer to buy locally. You don't have to worry about UPS/Fedex shipping and returns are easier.
