Replacing my s2 w/ a s3. With cable cards I assume that I can return my Chareter cable box and evrything woud be routed through my tivo.

Unless you want to use On Demand (or whatever the Charter equivelant is) or Pay-Per-View then yes. It is my understanding that there is no way to access suich features via CableCards.

I've kept my cable box from my provider, so I can use these features.

However, I find that a good combination if you're moving to an S3 is to actually keep your S2 and leave it connected to your cable box. That way you won't lose the ability to use Tivo2Go. You can record only the shows on your S2 that you wish to use with the TTG feature. (If you don't use Tivo2Go anyway, it doesn't matter).
