Software upgrade for Directv tivo

I have a Phillips 2 line Direct TV Tivo and I am trying to network wirelessly. The software on the unit is 6.2 and it needs 7 or higher to network wirelessly. It has the usb ports and all. Direct TV has told me that I have the last update that they will send out "6.2".

How do I get a software upgrade to be able to network wirelessly?

You don't need a software upgrade, you have the latest for the DTivos. Check out the Zipper thread on how to hack it to get what you want.
