Forgive me because I assume this has been discussed somewhere... just couldn't find it.
I've loaded up Desktop and required updates to Java and stuff. Everything works as defined without a hitch and some of the features are kinda cool but...
This isn't something most of us use everyday so how does one keep all this stuff from loading every time you fire up your computer? Surely TiVo thought this out and recognized most folks don't want bloated start menus and needless things running in the background just so you can have a neat little TiVo logo in your system tray?
How are you guys dealing with this? Have I missed something (which I frequently do)?
