My Tivo auto-rebooting for past 3 days

For the past 3 or 4 days around this same time, my Tivo has auto-rebooted and says it is installing a service update. Is this normal? I find it hard to believe they have had a service update release on 3 or 4 straight days.

I just hope nothing is wrong with my Tivo because if I ever had a service update before it would be once every many many months.

The others here will want to know what model you have and what software version is currently installed. Also, has this been hacked?

Could be a symptom of a failing hard drive TiVo can not uncompress the new software into the spare partition. If you have added recording capacity before there could be a problem with the swap partition or spare boot partition.
