It it possible to transfer only a portion of a recording?

Hi,

I was wondering if it were possible to transfer only a portion of a tivo programming to my computer and burn it. i recorded a 5 hour program and i only need about 30 mins of that towards the end of the program to burn to a disc.

What ive done in the past is just download it and edit it, and what im doing now, but i wanted to know if it was at all possible to tell tivo what portion i wanted transferred.

if you have a 2nd tivo you can transfer from a pause point and then stop the recording via MRV.

then you can transfer the clip to the peecee. I did this for a bit of figure skating my wife wanted to keep but she only wanted certain skaters.

This would be a feature I would like in the next software update...
Transfer from pause point.
Seems like if it can be done between Tivos with MRV, then it shouldn't be that hard to implement that into transfers to PC.
