America's Cup: Louis Vuitton (Challengers) Semis - Live on VS. starting May 14

I didn't see any threads about this, so I thought I'd throw this out: starting Monday morning, May 14, Versus (VS) will be carrying live coverage from Valencia of the semi-finals of the Louis Vuitton Cup -- the challengers' races to determine who will race the defender for the America's Cup.

The shows come up as "Yachting" for 2 1/2 hours each morning at 8:30 AM Eastern, and the broadcast is then replayed later in the day. I've just watched Monday's show, and it's quite well done.

Definitely worth watching, but I feel the commentary has a way to go to come up to the quality of what I've seen previously on ESPN.

I know what I'm looking at because I've watched the AC many times, but I wonder if the newbies will be able to follow what's going on.

And it looks like it's going to be Italy and NZ in the finals. The US entry are getting their butts kicked. Especially after Saturday's disasterous, double penalty start.

I don't know why Larry Ellsion put so much control to someone who has allways been a loser.

Very disapointing, Oracle has such a great boat, but a complete idiot at the helm who doesn't have the slightest idea on how to start.

Yes. I too am very disappointed the US is out. I've been a huge follower of the Cup since 1992. I worked at the San Diego Yacht Club during the 1992 cup and was just awestruck seeing the event unfold right before my eyes. Oh well, better luck next time.
