View Full Version : How about better searches for wishlists?

As a former computer systems person (and programmer), I am constantly frustrated by the limitations of the wish list search features.

Some Examples:

I really like British shows, both movies and series, but there's no way I can pinpoint them with a search. I've noticed that the expanded info screen might show "United Kingdom" as the country of origin, but theres no way a search will find this, since apparently searches only look in the most obvious places, such as what is shown on the first info screen.

Also, I sometimes want to watch a specific season on a syndicated series, but there's no way to get this done. Ideally, it would be great to be able to specify a season number - or even a year would work fairly well, but I have never been able to get this to work, even with trying various permutations.

I wish I could include channel criteria in keyword searches:

"Formula one racing" qualifying "channel 41"
"Formula one racing" race "channel 8"

(Canadian F1 fans will know what I mean)

And how about boolean searches? example:

Heroes AND NOT rescate

(because there's a Telelatino show called "Heroes al rescate" that I'm not interested in and it's on every day)
