OK, I've only seen this one place, so I hesitate to call it confirmed, but

These folks are reporting that during an interview James Olmos confirmed that the next season of BSG will be the last.

Also (and this was the odd part), when the interviewer mentioned to Katee Sackhoff the possibility of BSG getting better ratings on NBC proper (which I don't know if I believe), she said "but then how would I do the Bionic Woman at the same network, to be jumping back and forth, we have to keep it a little separate right now."

I know I saw a thread about the new Bionic Woman show, but I don't remember hearing Sackhoff was going to be involved.

Of course now that I've typed this in 2 minutes someone will post a link to the thread I didn't find talking about both these things. ;)

She's supposed to be a guest star on BW, not on every episode.

I needs me some BSG. Just a great show. They could run that show for another 5 years and i would not get bored. Too bad if confirmed

Really? I could misunderstand this article but it sounds like Katee plays Sarah who is the Bionic Woman. http://www.geekmonthly.com/news/2007/04/17/sackhoff-on-her-role-in-bionic-woman/

Edit: Nevermind, I see she's the nemesis of Jamie Sommers who is the Bionic Woman. Sarah is just another Bionic person.

"For those of you who have been paying attention over the years, this is not the first time Eddie has made an announcement about the possibility of the show's end," chuckled Eick. I promise you that when Ron and I make a decision about Galactica's future, we'll let you know."

I think I'll go with those two over one of the lead actors... *shrug* who knows.

I find it hard to accept anything coming from a webpage that starts sentences with lower case letters, and leaves the " 's " off of a possessive pronoun.

Very first thing, they quote Katie as saying about her character
"she almost all bionic..."

Not very likely she gave the interview sounding like a two year old.

Such classy editing...

There's a rumor of a BSG spin-off though. I'd hope if the show ends that something that furthers the storyline could take its place, ala Stargate (and yes Star Trek too.)

It's time for BSG to end.
Great concept, fine cast, great 1st 2 seasons but after the latest season it's apparent that the writers haven't got a plan or a clue.

Sadly I have come to a similar conclusion. IMHO, and I have watched each episode the second half of this past season just seemed to meander.

Perhaps they can fix it. Perhaps not. But I felt there was a great deal of filler in the last half of the last season.

Too bad, I have enjoyed it and I think there could be tremendous potential. :(

I agree. This past season was far too meandering, so much so that I've grown indifferent on the series.
