I have an old Sony SVR2000 running as a DVR only with no subscription and recently had a hard drive crash. I got a ver 1.3 image file and upgraded the hard drive to a 120 gig and all is well except the the "To Do List".
The image file has a huge amount of "To Do List" entries for recordings throughout the day both morning and evening and I can't delete any of them. This makes the unit pretty useless unless I unplug it when not in use.
I tried running the guided setup to clear everything but then it gets stuck in a loop due to lack of subscription so I have to restore the original image. Is there a way to edit the list on a PC to clear the entries? I only use the unit for manual recording so don't really need a "To Do List".
I would be grateful for any help.
