Hi all,
I have a Toshiba SDH400, an HDTV, a DVD player, a receiver, and a CD changer. I'm tired of having to juggle all the remotes. Can someone give me recommendations on a Harmony remote that works best with Tivo?

Pretty much your choice. They all work just fine with TiVo. I use the "for Xbox 360" model, which I think currently has the lowest list price (strange, because it has more programmable hard buttons than the similar model 550 which lists for $30 more). I bought an old Harmony SST-768 back before Logitech bought the company and have thoroughly enjoyed using both.

are the buttons most used on a Tivo convenientll placed on the Xbox model? Some of my reading shows that many people feel the 880 is not well suited due to button placement.

The "for Xbox 360" model has the same arrangement of shuttle-buttons (STOP, REPLAY, ADVANCE, PLAY over REC, REW, FF, PAUSE) as the 880. None of them has TiVo's layout, though the 850, 880 and 890 have the same shape.

By conveniently placed do you mean are the buttons located in similar positions to the peanut remote?
What's not convenient? I can hold any of my remotes in my right hand and press any of the buttons with my right thumb. They're all right there within thumb's reach. Can't get more convenient than that.

The only thing that I don't like about my 550 is that the volume and directional pad have an audible "click!" when you press them - it's a little annoying when scrolling through a big list or trying to change the volume by a large amount.
Other than that, it rocks.

I have an 880 and I like it just fine with my Tivo... in fact, I've never used the native TiVo remote at all - from day one I only used my Harmony... one remote to rule them all....

I also have the 550 and love it.

Like the others already said - the IR database on ALL Harmony remotes is identical.
They vary only in aesthetics, button layout, LCD screen sizes/lines, Activity buttons accessible as ONE click, and other more (IMO) frilly things like color screens, rechargable batetries/bases etc.
A few have RF capability if you need it for home automation devices.

I bought the Harmony 880 and rcv'd it in the mail the other day. I've had it for 2 days now. It was super easy to set up and has some really nice features. I to had about 3 or 4 remotes I was keeping track of and have never used an all-in-one remote. Again, the 880 is nice!

I got an Harmony 676 a couple of weeks ago at Sam's Club for $90. It is listed on the Logitech website at $200. I was easy to set up on the internet. It took a little tweaking but I got it set up fine.
I really enjoy it. It is a pleasure to use after this "One For All" trash I had. It control the TiVo extremely well. Most of the controls that you really use a lot are on the labeled buttons. The less used ones are on the soft buttons around the LCD screen. My old OFA universal remote had trouble controlling the TV, but the Harmony does not.
There are activities that can be setup like watch TiVo, play DVD, or watch TV. Three buttons near the top can be programed so that everything needed to do an activity will happen in sequence as needed. The fourth button calls up all the activities programed into the remote. I have my three most used activities on the buttons.
I am very pleased with this remote.

We have the 880. Not only does it work well on the TiVo it simply to program. In fact the remote is "Wife" and "Mother-in-Law" friendly. The guys that are married and have gone through I don't know how many "universal" remotes can appreciate what that means. I had a TC1000 but my wife lothed the touch screen despite the otherwise easy of use.
Another great feature I truly love about the 880 is it's rechargeable batteries. Sure the batteries in the TiVo remote last a while but they also seemed to go dead at the exact moment you didn't have any spares in the house.
For the bedroom the 880 replaced 4 remotes (TiVo, DVD, HD DVR and TV). I also don't have to worry about future compatibility, since the remote can learn the codes from an IR remote.
Even without the charging capability I am planning on purchasing one of the lesser models for the Livingroom, something I won't mind being used and abused by the kids.

I have absolutely no regrets buying the 880.

It can go either way. I have the 676 and my wife hated it, even though I had it programmed perfectly (or so I thought).
When I got the S3 and re-organized the home theater setup a bit, I went back to using the S3 peanut remote for day-to-day TV watching and she loves it. Now, the 676 only comes out when we're watching a DVD and want to use the receiver for audio.
I love the Harmony software/web site setup.

Too high end a remote for my budget.
