Problem with Native resolution

I connected S3 to 50" Panasonic that handles all resolutions (1080i, 720p, etc) via component cables. Set S3 to Native. No problem.

I've recently changed to using HDMI to connect. Now if I set S3 to Native, the Tivo guide menus when I'm on a standard def channel are expanded off the screen. Changing aspect does not help. HiDef channels are fine.

If I set S3 resolution to 1080i, everything is fine.

Anyone know what's up?

Could your TV be zooming when not being fed an HD resolution?

When native mode is set, you are using the 4:3 modes on the Panasonic for SD channels. Hence, your display is stretching the guide. Change the display mode on your Panasonic.
