I know that you can do the online programing thing, but I do not have high speed internet(dial up baby!!). So this mean a 20-30 min ordeal to program one show, that won't show up till my unit connects to the service and then there is the conflicting show problems.
Any sugestions

frustrated :(

You need an always on network connection, or one that can dial and hang-up on demand. The TiVo would connect to that over its network connection.

your options are
-to get broadband
-or else make the TiVo think it is broadband by sharing dial up internet connection from a PC. course then it will be dialing every 15 minutes or so.

ETA - what model is your TiVo?

Why do you want to do this?

Your dial up service is at home right?
Your Tivo(s) are at home right?
You have mobility right?

Yeah, but his Tivo doesn't have a keyboard.

I'd be awesome for new setups if you could plug in a USB keyboard to enter all of your season passes.

You don't have to type in much, just the first two or three letters, or browse the channels by time or in the guide. That is with the on screen keyboard.

That's what the underground forum is for.
