I would like to see the TiVo store every movie title in its database, similar to the way actors & directors are stored. Ok, maybe not *every* movie, but at least a few thousand from the last 30-50 years. You could then create a Wishlist for that one movie you want.
I realize this can be done by putting the title in a Title Wishlist, but that's a kludgy way to do it. And it leaves room for errors & multiple hits. Unless the space requirements are larger than I'm guessing, just keep all titles in a DB, and make it searchable. Just like actors.
This would be such an elegant way to create a WL of movies that one wants to see. And it seems like it would be a selling feature too: "Use your TiVo to create your own NetFlix type queue". Ok, maybe not exactly, but you get the idea :up:
