End of show bug?

I searched without finding an answer.
Noob here but not to "boards" in general.

I've noticed on my S3 that when I get to the "end of a show" it turns into a PITA.
I 30 sec-skip through the end looking for the delete now option, but it always comes to rest paused! Then I have to play and wait and then delete.

I'll try the back clear delete method, but does everyone have the samething going on?

Skipping to the end of show or FF to the end always led me to the delete program now page.

You do realize you can just hit the left arrow within the last 5 minutes of a show and the delete dialog will come up?

Also, at least on S1s, you can 30 second skip PAST the end and wrap back to the beginning.

Didn't realize that no. I've only ever used the DirecTivo HDVR2 and I always hit the 30 sec skip 2-3 times and the menu popped up.

Left arrow during the recording brings the Program menu which should let me delete with a clear.

Left arrow during the last 5 min does indeed bring up the Delete Program screen.

As for point 2, I never could skip past the end to the beginning no my HDVR2 unit
