Not sure this is totally the right forum, let me know if it's not... not really "hacking" my unit. :)

I have a bad PSU on one of my HDVR2's and was wondering if anyone knew some information about them. I don't think I really want to mess around with anything over a blown fuse on the unit itself unless it's pretty easy to do. If it's not the fuse (need to dig the multimeter out) does someone know where I can purchase a new/used one cheap? I've looked on ebay but from what I saw I could almost buy a whole HDVR2 unit for what the PSU's alone were going for.

Any information as always greatly appreciated!

I doubt you'll find a functional power supply for very cheap. eBay will be your cheapest source. For reliability, stick with folks like http://www.weaknees.com. Or buy a "dead" HDVR2 and hope that you can salvage its power supply.

Don't even waste your time trying to replace just the fuse. Your new fuse will just blow, too, as there's usually a reason it blew in the first place.

Just bite the bullet and buy a new power supply. If you try to buy a used unit, remember you're getting a used power supply, too.
