Hello,

Our ABC station recently added a new OTA sub-channel - WNGS 7.2. I can get the channel fine OTA on my HR10 and it appears in my on screen guide but there is no actual guide data. Instead it just says Regular Schedule. If I tune to 7.2 directly from my TV, I get the guide data listing the show that is currently on. So I don't think the problem is with the station. Plus I do get the guide data for the main channel 7.1 OK on my HR10, which is further evidence in my mind that it's not the station.

How do I get the guide data for 7.2 to show up in my HR10's on screen guide?

Direct TV does not have the subchannels available on their MPEG4 stream. For live TV, my guess is that they don't provide guide data for it either.

I get the guide data for my other OTA subchannels on my HR10:

2.2
29.2
43.2
43.3

I don't have any MPEG4 equipment/channels.

Your TV is getting the guide data from the PSIP information embedded in the OTA broadcast itself. D* receivers use guide data from Tribune Media Services instead. Use the feedback process at zap2it.com (the TV listing site operated by Tribune) to report the new channel and missing guide data. http://www.zap2it.com/services/site/zap-feedback,0,6935396.story

Or ask your local affiliate to make sure they're providing the data to Tribune.

Thanks for that link. I emailed Tribune and the local station to make sure they're synched up.
