Existing tivo files on computer to ipod

I paid (arghhh) for the desktop plus BEFORE realizing it only converts those downloaded after the purchase. So then I purchased (ARGHH) Videora ipod converter and waited forever for it to convert a blues clues file. it shows up on my computer as mp4 but itunes won't recognize. please help. going on 9 hour drive tomorrow and kid has got to have these on ipod for our sanity!!!

Look in the Home Media Features & TiVoToGo forum for a sticky thread on the TiVoConverter Wrapper. It will allow you convert previous transfers for free. If you have an old slow computer, it will take a long time no matter what software you use. For a comparison point my dual core AMD 64 X2 4200+ with 2GB RAM will convert a 1 hour Medium quality recording in about 25 minutes.

...another option, UNDELETE the shows if they are still available, re-transfer them to your desktop. Make sure your portable device settings are correct in TiVoToGo.
