What's the latest Series 2 DT software version?

Wondering why the calls are soooo long, and if it's dl'ing a newer SW version.

8.3 is the latest (see the thread on the Spring Release) although you should at least have 8.1 as 8.3 hasn't completely rolled out yet I don't think. If its downloading new software, it should say pending restart after the daily call is complete. If it says that and you aren't getting the new version, then it sounds like it is failing to install after it reboots at 2am to install the new software. If that is the case, there is probably an issue with your hard drive.

This is a brand new unit, and I've had it hooked up to a fax modem. It completed the first couple of calls okay, but hasn't been able to complete one over the last couple days (says 'call interrupted' after being on the phone for 30 minutes...and the call has not been interrupted).

I figured the extra long call meant it was dl'ing a new SW version and the fax modem couldn't handle it, so I've plugged directly into a phone jack, and it's been on the line for 50 minutes now.

Hopefully it completes, and then restarts with 8.X ...and these long calls are over with.
