"Clear and Delete" on S2 without Remote?

I just replaced a hard drive on a Sony SVR-3000 and need to "Clear and Delete" before running Guided Setup. Any way to run this without the remote? The screen requires three Thumbs Down entries to start the Clear and Delete. There is no Thumbs Down available on the fornt panel.

TiVos were really made to work with a remote. (The originals didn't even have front panel controls.)

You might be able to find a universal remote that has the thumbs buttons, or can be programmed to mimic them using some other button, or get a replacement remote thru Weaknees, eBay, or the Community Store connected to this website.

These should work for you with any remote that let's you enter IR code (i.e., via software).
